Ocean City Looks to Fill Seat on Tourist Development Commission

Weekend crowds on the downtown beaches in Ocean City, NJ.

The City of Ocean City is seeking applicants for volunteer position on the Tourist Development Commission.

The five voting members of the commission typically represent different segments of the Ocean City tourist economy. The commission controls a budget of more than $750,000 funded by mercantile and rental-unit fees.

The commission has an opening upon the completion of the two-year term of Manco & Manco co-owner Charles Bangle.

Term of Office: 2-year term ending Dec. 31, 2016
Note:  Commission members shall be municipal licensees, upon whom additional assessment has been imposed, or if a license is issued in the name of a corporation or partnership, their representative.

Meetings:  Bi-monthly at 9:30 am in City Hall
