Judging for the 2017 Night in Venice house and condo decorating contests will start 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, due to the forecast. The judging had been scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. but now will begin at 5:15 p.m.
Event organizers ask that all boat captains report promptly to the staging grounds near the Ocean City-Longport Bridge and be prepared to begin the parade on time or slightly early.
