The Ocean City Department of Fire and Rescue will participate in a multi-agency water rescue drill on Tuesday, June 12.

The training exercise will start at about 9:30 a.m. in the bay near the Route 52 causeway. The drill will include U.S. Coast Guard boats and other rescue equipment. The activity may be monitored from land by personnel at the Welcome Center on the causeway.

This notification is being provided to let any concerned citizens know that the activity is just a drill and that there is no need to report any emergency.
