Dear Friends,
I would like to share with all of you some great news that makes me proud to be mayor of Ocean City. Earlier this week, in “Best of New Jersey 2014: Summer Getaways,” New Jersey Monthly named Ocean City the Best Beach and Best Boardwalk. Several Ocean City businesses were also recognized in the “Best Of” categories. Congratulations to everyone who works hard to make Ocean City great, and a special thank you to our guests and New Jersey Monthly for this recognition.
I would like to remind everyone that the Ocean City Ecumenical Council is hosting the annual Ocean City Community Thanksgiving worship service on Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00 pm at Coastal Christian Church. Coastal Christian is located on the corner of 8th and West Avenue and attendees are asked to bring canned food items to support the Ocean City Community Food Cupboard. This event is important to our community and a special service prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Lastly, I hope you all get out to enjoy “Earlier than the Bird” tomorrow morning and the carriage rides all weekend in the downtown.
