The annual March for Babies fundraiser for the March of Dimes will take place on Sunday, April 26.
WHAT: March for Babies is the March of Dimes premier fundraising event. It supports research and other programs nationwide and in our community to help babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to nearly half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies. We’ve been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2.3 billion to benefit all babies. This year, 3 million people will join their family, friends and colleagues in nearly 700 communities across the nation. The walk is held rain or shine. For more information visit marchforbabies.org.
WHY: The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. With chapters nationwide, the March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
