The annual Ocean City Police Chase 5K Run, 2-mile walk and fun runs for kids saw perfect conditions on a clear and cool Saturday morning, and 305 runners finished the 5K race alone.
Race sponsors included the Ocean City Policeman’s Benevolent Association, Playland’s Castaway Cove and the Sneaker Shop. All proceeds benefit the PBA, which provides student scholarships, a Christmas toy drive, a free helmet program and the Youth Leadership Program.
The course for the race started on the Ocean City Boardwalk at Sixth Street and finished at the Ocean City High School track.
