Help Identify the Man Who Allegedly Stole $400 in Cigarettes from Ocean City Sunoco

A man walked into the Sunoco Gas Station at 34th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City at 9:02 a.m. Monday, took cartons of Marlboro cigarettes totaling $400, and ran off, Captain Steve Ang, public information officer, said Tuesday.

The Ocean City Police Department received a call for a reported theft at the gas station. According to police, the suspect committed the crime, then headed east on foot toward Asbury Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Ocean City Police Department at (609) 399-9111.
