They Are Dancing Their Ways To Bigger Things

The Dance Place is Ocean City’s biggest dance studio, and the biggest dance studio has one thing going for it. Loyalty. Moms of the graduating seniors in high school decided that this year would be something special for their girls. Many of these girls have been dancing at The Dance Place since the first grade, and some even before that. Despite the busyness of high school, these girls and mothers have dedicated a few hours each week to do what they love. Dancing means a lot to these families and The Dance Place has been like a second home for many of these girls. All of the hours spent each year has been with the other girls. A Night of Pure Magic With Eagles’ Jon Dorenbos

Saturday May 13th was a day to remember for Ocean City fans of the Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos. Jon’s magical abilities took him to the final round of NBC’s hit show America’s Got Talent. He won the country over with his fantastic card tricks and a few stories of his childhood, his mother, and how magic saved his life. His show Saturday night was a summarization of those tricks with new ones and old favorites giving a great show. Before Jon performed, comedian Peter Sasso got the crowd in a good mood with his lighthearted humor about his wife, his children, and his friends. The Music Pier burst with laughter during the opening act and Sasso got the whole crowd smiling before the main act had even come on stage!
