The Ocean City Free Public Library is encouraging patrons and members of the community to attend the “rollout” and ribbon-cutting for a new bookmobile at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15.
The event will take place at the 17th Street parking lot outside the library at Haven Avenue.
The new “bookmobile” will be able to bring library services to community events and to members of the community unable to get to the library.
The ceremony will feature speakers from the Ocean City Free Public Library Board of Trustees and staff. Refreshments will be served and attendees are welcome to tour the bookmobile.
National Bookmobile Day is Wednesday, April 15, 2015. It celebrates our nation’s bookmobiles and the dedicated library professionals who provide this valuable and essential service to their communities.
