NASA’s “Spot the Station” service tracks the movement of the International Space Station.

A new free NASA service can alert anybody when the International Space Station passes over their house.

“As the third brightest object in the sky, after the sun and moon, the space station is easy to see if you know where and when to look for it,” NASA writes on its “Spot The Station” web page.

The space station will pass over Ocean City at 6:26 p.m. tonight. It will be visible for 2 minutes. The space station will appear 16 degrees above SW and disappear  59 degrees above SW. The max height will be 59 degrees.

Tonight’s forecast of clear skies will provide excellent viewing conditions. Ocean City’s annual Christmas parade begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight. Don’t forget to look up as you make your way to Asbury Avenue for the festivities.
