On Saturday, August 6th, Ocean City Masters sent three boats to compete at the Quaker City Regatta on the Schuylkill River. This was the only South Jersey team to compete in this event.
OC Masters A Boat, Maura McMahon-Primus (stroke), Sharon Szabo, Kristen Mittleman, Suze DiPietro (bow) and Georgia Majka (coxswain), captured second place in the Women’s D-H4+ event. This boat was coached by Zachary Eberson.
OC Masters B Boat, Meryl Vangelov (stroke), Val Godfrey, Maura McMahon-Primus, Suze DiPietro (bow) and Jenna Cordery (coxswain), took fifth place in the Women’s A-C4+ event. This boat was coached by Alex Grassi.
OC Masters C Boat, Kate King (stoke), Mary Troxell, Lisa Niemi, Denise Weiand (bow) and Becca Dubbs (coxswain), placed sixth in the Women’s A-C4+ event. This boat was coached by Maddie Szabo and John Chester.
